Dj
In a world with no internet or smart devices I started dj-ing at the age of 13. Lukcy my twin brother had a passion and purchased two 1200’s. By the time I was 16 I’d spent hours in record stores listening to unique music, mixing records in my bedroom, recording them on tape and sending them out. With out the internet I was calling venues to set up gigs and then driving there or taking a train from London, to kings Lynn or Skegness to northern parts of Wales. Sometimes sleeping over or just staying at the open club all night and catching the first train home. Audience’s ranged from a few hundred to 10,000 and there was something to be said hanging around at a club all night. I’d always end up playing another set.
